City of Norco Council, Commissions & Committees Meeting Schedules

Beautification Committee - Formed to promote the appearance of the City and recognize the efforts of homeowners and businesses who have improved the appearance of their property.

Regular meetings are held at Norco City Hall per the request of the Chairman.

City Council - The five member City Council is elected by the voters of Norco during General Municipal Elections held in odd-numbered years. The City Council members are elected for 4-year terms. The City Council is the law-making body in the City of Norco and appoints the City Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the City.

Meets the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month in the City Council Chambers, 2820 Clark Avenue. Closed session (when scheduled) starts at 6:00 p.m., the regular meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Agendas and Minutes are available on-line.

Economic Development Advisory Council - Formed to encourage and promote economic development in the City.

Meets the 4th Thursday of each month in Conference Room A, City Hall, 2870 Clark Avenue, at 9:30 a.m.

Historic Preservation Commission - Formed to recommend to the City Council the designation of cultural resources, including individual properties, archaeological districts, and historic preservation districts.

Meets the 1st Monday of each month in Conference Room A, City Hall, 2870 Clark Avenue, at 4:00 p.m. Agendas are available on-line.

Parks and Recreation Commission - Formed to review matters relating to the City's parks and recreation system.

Meets the 2nd (and sometimes the 4th) Monday of each month in the City Council Chambers, 2820 Clark Avenue, at 6:30 p.m. Agendas and Minutes are available on-line.

Planning Commission - Responsibilities and authority are in accordance with the conservation and planning laws as related to general law cities, except as may be otherwise authorized by and set forth in specific city ordinances.

Meets the 2nd & last Wednesday of each month in the City Council Chambers, 2820 Clark Avenue, at 7:00 p.m. Agendas and Minutes are available on-line.

Sports Advisory Committee - Formed to review matters relating to the coordination of the activites of the various youth sports organizations.

Meets the 1st Monday of each month at Norco City Hall, Parks and Recreation Department, 2870 Clark Avenue, at 6:00 p.m.

Streets, Trails & Utilities Commission - Formed to review matters relating to the City's streets, trails and utilities.

Meets the 1st (and sometimes the 3rd) Monday of each month in the City Council Chambers, 2820 Clark Avenue, at 7:00 p.m. Agendas and Minutes are available on-line.

U.N.L.O.A.D. - A community-based committee under the umbrella of the City of Norco to combat the influence and effects of alcohol and drugs in the Norco community.

Meets the last Monday of each month in Conference Room A, City Hall, 2870 Clark Avenue, at 6:00 p.m.
