Teen Volunteer Program (TVP)

The Teen Volunteer Program (TVP) is a program that is designed for teens who are interested in participating in community events and helping “Create Community through People, Parks, Trails and Programs.” Participants of the TVP will have the opportunity to volunteer at City events and other activities which will include but are not limited to: Party Pardners (for developmentally challenged adults), Western Art Show, Spring Egg Hunt, Breakfast with Santa, Parade of Lights, 4th of July Jamboree, after school program tutoring, Teen programming and many more.

This program is designed to help participants with volunteer hours needed for school credit, personal experience and will serve as credible references on College applications and job resumes. The Teen Volunteer Program currently meets once a month after school at Norco Intermediate School (meetings at NIS are held for those who attend Norco Intermediate School only) to discuss upcoming community events and planning for teen events.
